If you prefer to cancel your plans, please call 570 821 3800. A Martz Bus Agent can assist you with an account-credit for your next Martz Bus purchase, less a $7.50 cancellation fee. It is important to complete any rescheduling or cancellation BEFORE your scheduled departure. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your ticket’s value.

Yes, Martz Bus does accepts tax benefit cards for tickets. We do not accept these for parking fees.
Employees enrolled in a pre-tax commuter benefits program, provide the amount of their monthly commuting cost for transit up to the maximum $270 per month and receive a debit card to use during Martz ticket purchases (parking excluded).

Martz Bus offers its greatest savings and best value to customers who travel with us regularly. Daily commuters can save up to 60% with Martz commuter discounts. Your commitment to travel 10, 12 or 40 times within the valid travel dates allows us to bundle the service and offer HUGE savings!
Additional Discounts
· Senior citizens age 62 and older receive a discount on all Martz Bus fares.
· Senior citizens age 65 and older travel free between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
· Children ages 2–11 are eligible for child fares; children under age 2 may travel free.
· Student Club Members are eligible for student discounts.
· Active-duty military members are eligible for military discounts.

Group Travel Savings
NY Party Fares provide savings for small groups of up to eight people traveling together. This special may be purchased online or in-person or by phone from a PA Martz Bus Agent 570.821.3800. You may also find special rates with our Charters operations, or within our Tours offers.
Big Apple Daily Special
The Big Apple Daily Special is available on morning runs 113, 115, or 117 to New York City when returning the same day. The Big Apple Special is not available online. For assistance, please visit your nearest Martz Bus Pennsylvania location or call 570.821.3800.
Weekly Saver – 5 round trips valid to use within 11 days. Perfect for the 3-5 day a week commuter, offering a better per trip rate than the Ten Trip due to the commitment to travel more within a shorter period of time.
Ten Trip –The commitment to travel ten or more times within the time-frame, enables you with tremendous cost savings compared to full fares. Our most popular commuter packages include:
withe Ten Trip package - You get 5 round trips that are valid to use within 31 days. This is a great option for the 1-2 day a week commuter, or mostly remote worker. Weekend travelers may want to consider this package which offers the best value even when only 8 of the 10 trips available when compared to the full fare options.
Twelve Pack – 6 round trips valid to use within 31 days is ideal for the 2-3 day a week commuter, or hybrid worker.
40 Trip Monthly – BEST VALUE for the 4-5 day a week commuter, 20 round trips valid to use within 45 days.
Seats 1, 2, 3 & 4 and seating areas for ADA Wheelchair Lift (seat numbers vary by model) are pre-reserved for the elderly and passengers with disabilities. Martz is required by law to make these seats available upon request.

If you arrive earlier than expected and wish to depart sooner, you have the option to update your ticket using the reschedule feature.
Simply log on to your account: Martz Ticketing or visit the ticket agent if available at your location.
This allows you to change your travel time to an earlier departure, provided seats are available.
In some cases, a standby option may be offered. Availability for standby travel depends on both the station and seat availability. When applicable, standby tickets are accepted only after those with reservations have boarded.
You must be in line, and be ready to board at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Arriving later may result in the loss of your booked ticket.
Your ticket can be scanned from the printed form, phone, or tablet. You can present the QR code using your mobile device for scanning, or you may print it out at home.
If you choose the “E-mail to Mobile” option, this must be done for each individual boarding pass. Each reservation will have a unique boarding pass for the schedule (date/time).

ADA service animals, trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of the individual with a disability, will be permitted to travel. The service animal must be under the control of the owner at all times and must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others. Service animals must ride within the customer’s space, service animals may not travel in an aisle or occupy a seat. Martz Bus reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a threat to the health and safety of other customers or personnel.
While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore will not be permitted to travel.
All commuter tickets are good for either direction to or from NYC Port Authority.

Martz Bus requires minors to be at least 16 years old to travel without an adult, photo ID may be required.
