What's included in the trip?

Each trip includes carefully planned experience. Some tours includes guides, activities, accommodations, and select meals, and other trips offer more of a casual 'on your own' experience for you to travel to a location with others but create your own plans when you arrive.

Every trip page clearly outlines what’s included so you know exactly what to expect before booking and you are always welcome to contact us with any additional questions you may have - we're happy to help!

How do I book a tour or trip?

You can easily browse our upcoming tours and trips and easily book it online, or you are welcome to call us at 570.821.3865 and we can help you book your trip or tour.

Does Martz Travel charge booking fees?

No, any extra service charge that appears on your receipt is the fee charged by your card issuer.

Why am I required to provide my phone number and email address when I make a reservation?

It's important that Martz Bus is able to reach you before and during a tour when necessary. If there are any changes to the itinerary before we depart, we may call you or email you. When we are on a trip, it may be necessary to notify you of any last-minute changes.

How do you choose the hotels and do I have to pay anything extra during my stay?

We choose our overnight accommodations based on location, value, cleanliness and dining facilities, where needed, and recommendations by past guests and tourism professionals.

You may make special requests regarding your lodging and we will do our best to accommodate you when possible. For instance, the number of hotel rooms with two beds are often limited. If you would like to request a room with two beds, please do so at the time you make your reservation.

You are responsible for any costs incurred at the hotel such as movie rentals, room service, long-distance phone calls or any other amenity not included in the tour description.

All hotel taxes and occupancy fees are included in the price of the tour.

Do I need to provide identification when taking a tour?

Martz Travel does not require you to provide identification though it is always a good idea to have identification with you when you travel.

Some venues, including casinos and federal and military installations, require guests to provide government-issued, photo identification. This will be noted in the tour description.

Do I need a passport?

If Martz Bus travels outside of the United States, you will be required to produce a valid passport. This will be noted in the tour description.

How do I know how much walking is involved in a tour?

Every Martz Travel tour includes a “Things to Know” page that describes, to the best of our knowledge, how much walking you should expect on each tour. Please look for “Walkability” on that page.

Can I bring a tablet, laptop or cell phone onto the bus?

We welcome the use of electronic devices and cell phones on our buses. We ask that you are considerate of other passengers while using your device.

Charging outlets are available on our buses.
