Cancellations - all sales are final. Martz Travel does not issue refunds. Therefore, we recommend you purchase travel insurance. If it becomes necessary for Martz Bus to cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund.
Trip insurance: Martz Travel does not offer trip insurance but partners with Trip Assure. You may purchase travel insurance on your own or buy it through Trip Assure. To get a quote or to purchase travel insurance from Trip Assure for any day trip or multi-day tour, follow this link or call a Martz Travel associate at 570-821-3865. This fee is separate from your tour cost.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and are not confirmed until payment is made. For day trips, your reservation is confirmed when you make your full payment. For multi-day tours, a reservation is confirmed when the required deposit is received. Due to limits on the number of people who can be accommodated on our motorcoaches and through our hotel reservations, we suggest you book your trip at the earliest possible date. We will accept names for wait lists.
Installment payment plans are offered for multi-day tours so you may spread out the cost of your trip over several months. Once you choose to pay in increments, you may have the payments automatically deducted from your checking account or charged to your credit card. You will receive a reminder a few days before each payment is scheduled to be withdrawn.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, check, electronic check (ACH) and cash. There is no extra fee if you choose to pay with cash or by a check or electronic check. All credit card payments are subject to a surcharge according to your credit card issuer and will be listed as service fee on your receipt. There is a $50 service charge on all returned checks.
ADA Accessibility: If you need assistance boarding the bus, please make note of it when you make your reservation. You may bring an ADA-approved mobility device on a tour as long as you notify us in advance. Wheelchairs are permitted on all tours and may be stored under the bus while we are traveling. Our motorcoach operator will assist you with this. If your mobility device is heavy, we will need to bring a ramp on the day of the tour to load it onto the bus so it is important to let us know in advance. If you need to remain seated in a wheelchair while we are traveling and require the use of a lift, please let us know when you are making your reservation so we can make arrangements to have a lift and to remove some seats from the bus.
Bus seating: While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. We are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers and will do our best to meet all requests.
Seatbelts: All motorcoaches are equipped with seatbelts. Passengers are encouraged to wear seatbelts at all times. You are responsible for following the New York state seatbelt law for buses while traveling within the state. The driver or tour coordinator will review the provisions of the law when we are traveling through New York.
Itineraries: Martz reserves the right to revise the itinerary and make substitutions of equal value.
Timelines: Please be at your pickup location 15 minutes before our scheduled departure time. If you are running late, please call our dispatch center at 570-821-3875. Because of our carefully planned itineraries and out of respect for the other travelers, we cannot guarantee that we will wait longer than 10 minutes to depart. As for our return trips, all dropoff times are estimated.
Meals are included in the price of the tour where noted. When a meal is not included in the overall price, it will be listed as “on your own.” All sales taxes and gratuities are included on meals that are included in the price of the tour. When you are dining “on your own,” you are responsible for all sales taxes and gratuities.
Dietary restrictions or food allergies: If a meal is included in a Martz tour, please make note of any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies when you make your reservation. We will pass on your request to the hotel or restaurant before the trip.
Gratuities: Passengers will receive an envelope for a bus driver’s tip. This is optional. At times, a collection may be taken for step-on guides or other guides provided by the destination.
